You are currently viewing version 14 of K-ichigo.Com featuring my two original characters: Etion (brown hair) and Leon (black hair). Both characters are part of a manga series that I am currently on-and-off working on called 'King of Spades'. The five main pictures that make up this layout take place near the end of the story. If you navigate the sections from left to right they display Etion after a shipwreck, his landing on an island, Leon finding him, their traveling by boat, and lastly reaching safety on another island in huts thousands of feet above ground.

My primary goal for this design was to make the layout an art exhibition in itself.

Technicalities:
All sections and parts of the layout were drawn by hand, including the theatrical curtained border, and colored with OpenCanvas. Editing done in Photoshop 7 and Paint Shop Pro 7. Coded by hand in Notepad.
