I started my first art site in the Summer of 2001. I was hosted at tripod.com for a few years, followed by some private hosts and then on October 9, 2004 I bought K-ichigo.Com at namenova.com.

Why K-ichigo? One of my first favorite art sites was Galou's Holy Garden at O-nigiri.Com. I liked how she put a dash after the first letter so I did the same. Kiichigo is raspberry in japanese. I was quite the anime junkie when I got this domain so of course I chose a random japanese word.

Vistapages.com is my current host. It is an excellent server that I highly recommend.
